Xerox copies of photographs of eight pages are included in files contributed by Janet Paul, Alexander Turnbull Library, National Library of New Zealand, Reference no. MS-Papers-6263-3 [see Related images]. It can be assumed that Paul took these photographs during a visit to Flora Scales in 1979. Location of original photographs or negatives unknown. The first page of these photocopies [documenting page 5] is inscribed in Paul’s hand at upper margin, “Flora Scales Chalk drawings on rough textured canvas paper. Preparatory drawings for paintings.”
By 1983 when de Lange photographed the loose leaf pages one page was no longer in the collection [see Related images 3 / page 8].
