Chamber of Commerce Exhibition

“Auckland lovers of pictures will find much to interest them in the exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce buildings, Swanson Street. The show is out standing in that its standard is generally high. Pictures representing the most prominent of our New Zealand artists hang side by side with very interesting examples of the work of a prominent English water colour painter, Lamorna Birch, R.W.S. The latter painters work is especially interesting because of his extraordinary technical ability. Among the New Zealand painters who show characteristic work are John Weeks. W.
